The Health Passport Programme - waiting list
With thank's to the Lancashire COVID-19 Community Support Fund & National Emergencies Trust, Wishing Well is now able to accept 30 families with school aged children from the Chorley and the South Ribble area onto the Health Passport Programme.
The Health Passport Programme will start in June and run for 3 months, All families enrolled onto the programme will each receive regular deliveries over the 12 week period. Each free food delivery will contain approximately £30 worth of food. We will provide some fresh fruits, vegetables as well as some cupboard staples. In addition to the food there will be a couple of health related challenges for the children in each family to complete. Task 1: Each week there will be a healthy meal that we ask the children to cook. We will provide a recipe card in the box and upload a supporting video onto a Whats App forum. Task 2: A simple physical activity challenge for the children to complete will be set. Again, a supporting video will be uploaded onto our Whats App forum and the activities will be designed so that children of all abilities can complete. Task 3: We ask that either a short video or photo is uploaded onto the Whats App forum, letting us know how the cooking and physical activity challenge went for your family. The Whats App forum will be a closed group, with only the other families on the project able to share and upload their experiences. If you want to participate in this fun and educational programme complete the enrolment form below. |
