Working in partnership with the Life Foundation
Volunteers wishing to apply for placements in Romania are processed by the Life Foundation.
All volunteer information is shared between both organisations. LIFE process all of the volunteer applications, undertake interviews and organise the pre-departure training. Once in Romania Wishing Well provides all in-country volunteer support. Project management and evaluation is shared between both organisations. First time volunteers are required to fundraise a minimum of £400, which should be donated via the Wishing Well Just Giving page by a UK tax payer. This money will be equally divided between both organisations to cover all volunteer recruitment/training and placement costs. Returning volunteers only have to pay internal travel expenses if they have been actively involved with Wishing Well/LIFE since their last trip and have set up a small monthly standing order to support the on-going work in Romania.
