    Mirela Zone

Natalie Pinkham, TV presenter and radio personality volunteered in Romania 12 years ago, whist a student at Nottingham University.  During that time she established a special bond with a little girl called Mirela.  Since leaving Romania  Natalie has often wondered what has happened to this special little girl and so 12 years later she set out on a mission to see if she could track her down.  The programme; Mirela, the Lost Orphan was shown on Channel 5   21/11/11.

Wishing Well is working in all 9 Family Type Homes situated in Slatina.  We also work with the 2 adult institutions that most of the children will probably end up in.  Children from the Family Type Homes visit our centre to access a specialist Therapy room.  We also support teams of local and international volunteers to work with us in Romania, providing extra care and support for the children.
